24 And Pilate seeing that he profited nothing, but that more [a] noise was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the people, and said, I am guiltless of the blood of this rightful man; busy you[a].
25 And all the people answered, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
26 Then he delivered to them Barabbas, but he took to them Jesus scourged[b], to be crucified.
